AIM, a Christian Degree Awarding institution specializing in music and performing arts, invites applications for:

FINANCE MANAGER (01)

Responsibilities: Financial planning, budgeting, cash-flow management, reporting, annual financial statements and audit coordination; payroll, tax and statutory compliance; financial controls and strategic financial advice.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; minimum 2 years’ relevant experience with leadership potential; CPA/ACCA an advantage; proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets; knowledge of Ugandan regulatory requirements; strong analytical and communication skills.

ASSISTANT ACADEMIC REGISTRAR (01)

Responsibilities: Student admissions, registration and records; coordination of affiliated program; examination results, schedules and graduation documentation; academic events and ceremonies; compliance with academic policies and requirements.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Social Science or related field; minimum 2 years’ relevant administration experience with leadership potential; computer literacy; strong organizational and communication skills; attention to detail and confidentiality.

ASSISTANT LECTURER – MUSIC (01)

Responsibilities: Teaching assigned courses and practical/studio instruction; student assessment and mentoring; participation in recitals; performances and academic activities; contribution to curriculum development, research and creative work.

Requirements: Master’s Degree in Music or relevant field preferred; strong Bachelor’s level candidates with professional experience may be considered; demonstrated competence in the relevant specialization; teaching and/or professional performance experience; strong communication skills and commitment to AIM’s Christian mission.

The AIM internship program is open to national and international musicians/administrators who have the qualifications, and want to develop practical skills in fields under the supervision of AIM staff.  They must have the qualifications below:

i)       Minimum educational background: Diploma in music/administration or its equivalent.

iii)    Two references (one from a teacher, and the other from an organization)

iv)    Interview and audition on the specific area of teaching/administration
