Africa Institute of Music exists to cultivate musical excellence, deep spirituality, and mature leadership—forming musicians whose gifts are rooted in Christ and offered in service to others.

Through classical music and orchestra, Ugandan and African musical traditions, jazz and improvisation, contemporary music, and worship, students learn to listen deeply, create courageously, collaborate generously, and serve faithfully.

We believe every culture carries a unique voice. Different musical traditions, languages, histories, and perspectives can come together without losing their distinct beauty. Our vision is not to make every musician sound the same. It is to prepare musicians to listen, to belong, to create, and to worship together.*
